At Ralph and Forest, all of our products are lovingly handmade using the finest natural materials. It is our mission to bring our customer’s the highest quality products, that are sustainably made, but fully recyclable too! Helping to reduce our carbon footprint.
Rory and I, have a strong ethos for living sustainably. From swapping out all of our cleaning and toiletry products in our home to refillable containers that contain natural ingredients with no hidden nasties, to shopping locally and eating organic (when we can). We recently had a gorgeous baby boy who has brought so much joy into our lives, but he has also made us even more aware of the toxic chemicals that are present in many products we had in our home.
We’ve gone to huge efforts to ensure the materials we use to make and package our products at ralph HOME are not only good for the planet but good for us too.
Candles
Our candles are made from 100% pure coconut and soy wax, our candle labels are made using recycled paper, and the candle vessels are made from glass, so once your candles are finished, you can either upcycle or recycle them.
Our Self-Care eco candles, are made using essential oils and are 100% natural and clean burning! These are perfect for helping with calm, sleep, detox, and relaxing.
The fragrance oils we use in some of our signature candles aren’t 100% natural, but this only makes up 8% of the candle, making even these candles 92% natural. The low amount of fragrance oil used in these candles are not toxic when burned properly. As we do not make our candles with paraffin wax, and our wicks are correctly sized with the vessels, your candle will not burn hot and phthalates should not be released into the air. Soft Homewares
At Ralph and Forest, we spend hours searching and sourcing the highest quality homewares. We work closely with Artisans from all over the world - allowing us to bring you unique products that are handwoven using a traditional and cultural talented technique, making each piece one of its own.
All of our soft furnishings are handwoven using 100% organic cotton and don’t contain any nasty chemicals or dyes.
Zero Waste Packaging
From the boxes, mailers, and draw string bags your lovely products arrive in, to the packing peanuts that protect them - we can proudly say our packaging at Ralph and Forest is 100% eco-friendly and recyclable.
Our boxes are made from recycled cardboard, our mailers are made from brown (sustainably sourced) paper, the draw string bags your candles are nestled inside are made from 100% organic cotton, the packing tape and tissue paper is made from sustainable brown paper and are fully recyclable, and our packing peanuts are made from potato starch and are 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable. Starch is also an annually renewable resource.
Fun tip - just pop your packing peanuts under the tap and watch them dissolve and wash away down the sink.
